Sci-fi, fantasy, historical fantasy, mythology and so much more all come crashing together in one beautiful narrative. The character arcs were interesting to see unfold, as the powerful love story between Kaelyn and Lovelin was palpable to say the least. The twists and turns their relationship takes as they not only contend with ancient prophecies about their love life and the intensity for which they crave one another, but the people who work behind the scenes to take them apart will shock longtime fans as well.
This is the perfect story for those who enjoy sci-fi, fantasy, and a conglomeration of different genres which blur together beautifully. As a fan of all these genres, it was interesting to see how naturally the theme and atmosphere meshed with these genres without losing any of the character growth at all. The only thing readers will want to know is that having a working knowledge of the background of this narrative or having read the previous two books will definitely help bring clarity to some of the twists this narrative takes.
